- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.

I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Oncology-Pathology at Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
I completed a Doctor of Medicine in Anesthesiology from Nanchang University, China in 2018, followed by a Master’s degree in Anesthesiology from Fudan University, China, in 2021.
The aim of my Ph.D. thesis work is to understand the molecular pathogenesis and to identify biomarkers for predicting tumor progression in Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC). During my doctoral study, I observed that IGF2BP3 is frequently overexpressed in tumor metastasis and associated with shorter survival in MCC, suggesting the potential use of IGF2BP3 as a prognostic biomarker in MCC progression.
