Alex is a Senior Landscape Architect at Arup with over 13 years professional experience. She is an advocate for cooler cities with her experience on AILA Award winning projects having influenced an increase in tree canopy that cools and shades the environment to improve the quality of our natural systems and people’s lives. Alex is Project Manager for the Queensland Health Shade Tree Guidance and CanopyCast application which demonstrates how to maximise tree shaded pathway networks to reduce UV radiation exposure in our urban environments.
