Peter Dalum holds a master’s degree in communication and a PhD in prevention and health promotion. Since 2012 he has been the chief executive manager of an interdisciplinary prevention team at the Danish Cancer Society’s department for Prevention & Information and has had the responsibility for the development of national prevention efforts with focus on the significance of alcohol, sun and UV prevention. Since 2020 his responsibility portfolio expanded to included focus in the prevention of overweight and obesity, and the significance of physical activity and diet for the prevention of cancer . Peter Dalum has experience and competencies in the development, execution and evaluation of multicomponent prevention campaigns, digital dialogue, teaching, events, as well as evidence-gathering, evaluation of projects, analysis and research activities .
