Louise Signal

Associate Professor Louise Signal is a social scientist with a PhD in Community Health from the University of Toronto. She has considerable experience as a public health researcher. Her research interests include tackling inequalities in health, healthy public policy, and promoting healthy eating and healthy action. Louise currently co-directs the qualitative Cancer, Care and Comorbidity (C3) study which investigates the impact of comorbidity on clinical decision-making and patient journeys. Louise is a Director of the Health Promotion & Policy Research Unit at the University of Otago, Wellington and teaches health promotion at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
