Ryan is a Research Fellow in the Department of Public Health at the University of Otago, Wellington. He specialises in quantitative analysis, policy research and health economics, with a focus on modelling the health, equity and economic impacts of public health interventions. His current research on skin cancer prevention is supported by funding from the New Zealand Cancer Society Research Collaboration.
