Joanna Turner
University of Southern Queensland, QLD, Australia
- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.

Dr Turner is a Senior Lecturer in Physics, at the University of Southern Queensland. Her research focuses on the measurement and monitoring of ultraviolet radiation and its impact on humans and the biosphere. Her areas of expertise include understanding how ultraviolet radiation behaves when interacting with built (human made) environments and the use of smartphones for possible detection of ultraviolet radiation. Dr Turner is also expanding her understanding by working with colleagues as a part of a Working Group based at the Kennaook Cape Grim Air Pollution Baseline Station, where she is part of the team working on spectral radiation monitoring as part of a larger climate change program.
