Dr Sarah Ward is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. She obtained her PhD in genetic epidemiology from The University of Western Australia in 2014 and has since been the recipient of an NHMRC CJ Martin Biomedical Early Career Fellowship and a Department of Health WA Emerging Leaders Fellowship. She currently leads the scientific research program for the Western Australian Melanoma Health Study and her research in cancer and genetic epidemiology has primarily focused on investigating the genetic and environmental determinants of melanoma risk and survival.
