A/Prof Andrew Dettrick is a senior consultant Anatomical Pathologist at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology Sunshine Coast and former pathology fellow at Melanoma Institute Australia. He is the pathologist in attendance for the head and neck multidisciplinary team meeting and co-chair of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team meeting at Sunshine Coast University Hospital. His current research interest is high-risk skin cancer, including the grading and staging of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, the role of Merkel cell polyomavirus in Merkel cell carcinoma and metastatic basal cell carcinoma.
