Bonnie is a research officer in the Medical Genomics group at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. She completed her PhD in 2023 with Prof. Kiarash Khosrotehrani at the Frazer Institute, University of Queensland. During her PhD, she investigated mutational load in the sun-exposed skin and the use of epidermal ablation in reducing keratinocyte cancers. After completing her PhD, she joined the QIMR Berghofer Institute. Her current project focuses on applying machine learning models on multi-omics data to identify biomarkers and predict prognosis in oesophageal adenocarcinoma patients.
